170 Primary Breast Lymphoma-Mimicking Inflammatory Breast Disease: A Case Report

Abstract Primary breast lymphoma (PBL) is an unusual clinical entity accounting for 0.4–0.5% of all neoplasms. The usual presentation includes a painless palpable mass similar to that carcinoma. Diffuse large B-cell (DLBCL) the most common identifiable type PBL based on histopathological examination. We report case 22 years old Bangladeshi woman presented with 6-month history lump left breast. Although was initially small, it began rapid growth after 4 months. swelling localized and did not show any skin involvement or discharge as she didn’t have positive familial carcinoma her primary attending physician diagnosed abscess. When local incision drainage proved ineffective, referred us. After doing immunohistochemistry from incisional biopsy diagnosis confirmed Large Lymphoma. patient treated by chemotherapy CHOP therapy followed wide excision. Early accurate crucial selecting appropriate MDT treatment strategies avert potentially harmful surgical interventions.
